Reluctantly the bride took the card home and uploaded her images to find that nearly ALL of her images were blurry, out of focus, or so dark she couldn't even make out what the images was supposed to be of. After trying to contact this "photographer", there was no response, blocking from facebook, and essentially a disappearance #epicfailnumber2.
This is not a plug. I am not attempting to get you to hire me above anyone else - although I'm super excited about all of the newly engaged brides-to-be I've been hearing from. :)
This is a plea. Please, please, please - do your homework. When researching and hiring a photographer for any occasion, but ESPECIALLY FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY, you need to:
1. Ask to view portfolio work if you haven't followed them on facebook or their website
2. Ask for references
3. Ask to view their wedding contract
4. Understand that sometimes...you get what you pay for.
I wish you good luck in your search, and certainly - if you need me, you know where to reach me.
